Founder of StableMinded.us

Elisa Pulliam, the founder of StableMinded.us, helps individuals and groups stabilize and thrive. Lisa, as she prefers to be called, is passionate about simplifying the brain-body-relationship connection that shapes mindset and habits.

For more than two decades, Lisa has specialized in serving women through life transitions and offering personal as well as professional development coaching and assessments to adults and teens. She also provides faith-based services for clients seeking to align a biblical worldview with their life purpose. In 2021, she added equine-assisted coaching and learning programs to her services, including wellness sessions for individuals of all ages, customized leadership training programs, and team-building workshops for groups and families. In 2024, her practice formally expanded to offer counseling services.

Lisa is a licensed associate professional counselor holding a Master's in Clinical Counseling with a Trauma concentration from Eastern University. She is EMDR trained, a certified Life Breakthrough Coach, Highlands Ability Battery Consultant, and Natural Lifemanship Institute Trauma-Informed Equine Specialist and Coach. Lisa is also the author of numerous books, including, Meet the New You, Unblinded Faith, and Finding Calm, as well as a sought-after speaker.

When she’s not at the stables serving clients or enjoying her OTTB rescue, Kodiak Jack, alongside her barn family, she can be found savoring the time with her husband of 28 years, all-grown-up children and their spouses, and being entertained by her beloved Golden Retriever.

What to Expect

Everything you want to know about this event!

We will provide a brief introduction to how equine-assisted counseling, coaching, and learning work in reducing anxiety, depression, and stress, healing from trauma, and developing confidence, courage, and relationship skills.

Not at all. This is an observation-only experience. If you do want to interact one-on-one with a horse, we recommend booking a private session.

Absolutely! We would love for you to come with a friend or family member.

Yes, but please keep in mind that children must be kept closely supervised for everyone's safety and enjoyment.

It tends to be windy and colder at the stable, so please dress in layers. Also, please wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dusty and dirty.
