Counseling is ideal for clients who are ready to explore why they show up in this world the way they do, identifying core life-changing and/or traumatic experiences, and embracing treatment for mental health disorders, such as anxiety, ADHD, depression, substance use/abuse/addictions, PSTD, complex PTSD, and personality disorders. 

For Pennsylvania residents, I specialize in offering counseling for the treatment of anxiety, ADHD, and PTSD, with sessions available online and in-person in Narvon, PA.

EMDR, which stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, was discovered in 1987 by Francine Shapiro, who identified the benefits of bilateral stimulation (BLS) for processing memories in order to enable the brain and body to heal in a natural way.

EMDR helps create the connections between your brain’s memory networks, similar to what happens in REM or dream sleep, through eye movements (tones, tapping, and other forms of BLS), which helps reprocess the memory and other associated experiences. 

I am trained as an EMDR therapist and open to integrating this approach into work for clients who would benefit from the process.
